In cases where a humanist or minister is not suitable, Mark Shaw can prepare and deliver a personal ceremony and tribute according to the families wishes. Families may often wish to take part in the actual funeral ceremony.
We have all the relevant contacts with local agencies which can be involved at the time of bereavement such as Hospitals, Police, Doctors, Clergy, Other Religious Groups, Procurator Fiscal, Burial Grounds and Crematoria and we will liase with them as neccessary on your behalf.

For those who wish to Pre-arrange their own funeral, we can advise on various options including making full payment in advance. Payments can either be made as a one off payment or by instalments. Pre-arranging your funeral can save families a lot of worry and decision making when it comes to arranging your funeral and ensures they are not left with any financial burden. You can record as much or as little detail as you wish. Funds are then held in a secure trust managed by Golden Charter and will meet the increase in funeral directors charges. Eco-Friendly
Many people are becoming concerned about the impact their life has on the environment. Funerals are no exception and a growing number of people want to ensure that they are laid to rest in as natural and environmentally friendly way as possible. We work closely with the local woodland cemeteries and along with traditional coffins we supply a range of coffins made only of natural materials such as bamboo, willow, jute and pine which meet their requirements. These coffins are equally suitable for cremation or local authority burial grounds.
